COUNTY TEAM BILLIARDS CHAMPIONSHIP

Sponsored by the Amateur Billiard Circuit for the "County Cup".

COMPETITION RULES

1. Entries will be accepted from all English Counties.
2. A team will consist of any three (3) players from a maximum of four (4) named players.
3. The Championship shall be decided on a knock-out basis.
4. The committee will arrange a date and venue for the event that will appear on the Events Calendar.
5. Each team captain will decide his playing order, match by match, and the opposing players will then be paired off.
6. Each game will be played over a one hour duration. After all three games are complete the team that has the most points under the current format will progress to the next round.
7. In addition to named players each team is required to provide at least one official to assist with refereeing and marking duties. Teams not arriving at the venue with a person able to assist in refereeing duties will be disqualified.
8. Each County is allowed to enter up to two (2) teams ('A' & 'B').
9. All players must be resident in the County which he or she is representing.

11. PRIZE MONEY: will be dependent on entries, but the E.A.B.A. Committee will be aiming at total prize money as follows:

    • Winner: £200
    • Runner-up: £140
    • Semi-final Losers: £80
    • Plate Winner: £80
    • Plate Runner-up: £40
    • Total Prize Money: £500
12. Closing date will appear on the entry form and the Events Calendar.
