Scottish Billiards Championship 2004
25th April 2004 at Craigpark Masters, Glasgow
Mark Boyle retained the newly revived Scottish Billiards Championship by
defeating ex-professional player David Sneddon in the final at Craigpark
Masters, Glasgow, on 25th April 2004. The billiards championship had been
reinstated last year in order to select representatives for the IBSF World
Championship in India and Boyle had also been successful on that occasion.
Both he and Sneddon came through the qualifying groups undefeated, but the
23 year-old snooker star had the measure of the more experienced Sneddon
in the 150-up short format games, winning the best of five final 3-0.
Scottish snooker professional, Jamie Burnett, present the trophies to all
the winners and runners up.
