Official Ranking Lists
Main Competition
The ranking positions for English Amateur players is based on the performance during the current season and takes account of results from the English Amateur Championship, the best five results from the six one-day tournaments which comprise the Amateur Billiards Circuit (ABC), and the English Amateur Matchplay Championship.
English Amateur Championship Points
| Winner: | 50 points |
| Runner-up: | 40 points |
| Losing Semi-finalists: | 30 points |
| Losing Quarter-finalists: | 22½ points |
| Intermediate group qualifiers: | 15 points |
| Regional group qualifiers: | 10 points |
| All other entries: | 5 points |
ABC Tournament Points
| Winner: | 30 points |
| Runner-up: | 25 points |
| Losing Semi-finalists: | 20 points |
| Losing Quarter-finalists: | 15 points |
| Losers in the Last Sixteen: | 10 points |
| Preliminary Round Winners: | 10 points |
| All other entries: | 5 points |
In addition, these tournaments will involve a Plate competition open to players who lose their first match in the main event. Additional points will be awarded to the players who reach the closing stages of this competition, as follows:

| Runner-up: | 12½ points |
| Semi-finalists: | 10 points |
English Amateur Matchplay Points
| Winner: | 30 points |
| Runner-up: | 25 points |
| Losing Semi-finalists: | 20 points |
| Losing Quarter-finalists: | 15 points |
| Losers in the Last Sixteen: | 10 points |
| Preliminary Round Winners: | 10 points |
| All other entries: | 5 points |
In addition, these tournaments will involve a Plate competition open to players who lose their first match in the main event. Additional points will be awarded to the players who reach the closing stages of this competition, as follows:

Junior Competition
The ranking positions for English Junior players is based on performances throughout the current season and takes account of results from the English Under-16 and Under-19 Championships together with the best five results from the six one-day Junior Ranking tournaments.
At the end of the season, the players ranked in positions 1-4, will be invited to represent England Juniors in the 2007 Kingsman Cup.
English Under-16 and Under-19 Championship Points

| Semi-finalists: | 30 points |
| Quarter-finalists: | 22½ points |
| All other entries: | 10 points |
Junior Ranking Series Points
| Winner: | 25 points |
| Runner-up: | 20 points |
| Semi-finalists: | 15 points |
| Quarter-finalists: | 10 points |
| All other entries: | 5 points |

Senior Competition (Over-50's)
The ranking positions for Senior Amateur players is based on the performance during the current season and takes account of results from the Grand Masters Championship and the best five results from the six one-day tournaments which comprise the Amateur Billiards Circuit (ABC).
Only those players participating in the Grand Masters event will be eligable for inclusion in this list.
