A coupon for this competition appears below.
All that Competitors have to do is to fill up the accompanying Coupon, cut it out, and forward it to - The Competition Editor, The World of Billiards, 18, Bouverie Street, Fleet Street, E.G., so that it reaches him not later than the first post on the morning of Monday, January 5 next.
Competitors may send in any number of Forecasts, the only condition being that a separate Coupon must be used for each. The Two Competitors naming the winner of this Game, and most nearly forecasting the actual number of points by which it is won, will each receive a cheque value HALF-A-GUINEA.
At the end of the season the Competitor whose Forecasts of the results of the Matches set for Competition have been most nearly correct, will receive a special prize of TWO GUINEAS.
We shall also present a SPECIAL CONSOLATION PRIZE OF FIVE GUINEAS to the Competitor who has sent in the greatest number of Forecasts during the season.
This is a genuine sporting competition. Can you "spot the winner"? If so, fill in his name and the number of points by which you think he will win, on the coupon below, and send the same to the Competition Editor as above. The greater the number of forecasts sent in by you, the greater are your chances of winning one of these half-guinea cheques, and also of being the fortunate winner of our FIVE GUINEA CONSOLATION PRIZE at the end of the season. Do not forget that you are at liberty to send in as many Forecasts as you please, the only condition being "ONE FORECAST, ONE COUPON."
In case of any dispute the decision of the Editor shall be final.
