An excellent game for three-handed billiards is as follows: Each of the three players takes one of the balls, red, spot white, and white. The game begins with the spotting of the red ball, on which one of the white balls is played. Then all three balls are in play, and whenever.a winning hazard is made, the pocketed ball is spotted, and if not disturbed, is played by its owner from spot. Each winning hazard counts two, and each losing hazard three, while cannons count two. A miss by one player counts one each to the other two, while running,a coup counts two to each of the other players. If the wrong ball is played with, the striker is debarred from counting anything he may have made by the shot, and the next player goes on, the balls being left as they are.
