Robin Wilson aged eleven is the youngest ever Boys Billiards finalist. Wilson put up a very good performance against Chris Brunskill scoring a creditable one-hour total of 155, but he was not quite experienced enough to prevent the 15 year old Brunskill from taking the title. Brunskill also made the tournament highest break of 70. Robin was involved in a nail biting finish in the quarters scraping through by a single point against 15 year old Simon Popple.
