With Russell winning the first leg in Madras, no player can now claim the £3000 bonus on offer to any winner of all three events. There were some remarkable games and scores. Match details will be published in the April Issue of the BQR together with details from the third leg (Hyderabad) The second leg was due to be played in Hyderabad, but that city will now be the venue for the third leg. The dates for the third leg have been revised to take into account the revised dates for the UK and British open. It is not expected that many BQR readers will travel to India for the Grand Slam third leg - but remember, never travel to watch professional billiards without first checking that both dates and venue are as originally advertised. The record has been much better recently but dates, especially in India, have sometimes to be changed due to unforeseen circumstances. The World Championship dates for Bombay seem secure.
