IBSF Life Membership for Stan Brook

The BQR congratulates ex-chairman of the BSCC Stan Brooke on his being made a life member of the International Billiards and Snooker Federation.

The Fred Cundall Memorial Trophy Mr. Brooke made a short speech about the late. Fred Cundall. Mr Cundall was a very well-known billiards player in the Leeds area. His brother Leonard had sponsored the tournament and presented a fine cup. This cup will be played for annually and will be known as the Fred Cundall trophy. All those present were greatly appreciative of this gesture on the part of Mr. Leonard.

Tournament organiser Derek Townend, on behalf of the players, congratulated Mr Brooke on his election to life membership of the IBSF and thanked Mr Cundall.
