Tournaments to the short game format are a bit of a lottery at this level with the leaves and the run of the balls having more bearing than in long games. The event is seeded for a Russell/Dagley final. Russell and Sethi should contest one Semi and Dagley and Williamson the other provided the Earl Shilton man can get past his old rival Bob Close in the first round. B.Q.R, remembering Dagley's form at the Barbican, takes Norman for this one.
