There are two Tournaments played in Notts, The Notts Amateur and The Notts Institutes (Handicap.) Last year the Editor of this Magazine won them both, this year he managed to lose them both. The Notts Amateur was won by Tom Martin (Sherwood Inst.) who beat John Fox (Plessey Club) 500 (63) -388 (62.50) The Institutes Handicap was won by Brian Butcher (Hucknall) 400 (Rc.40) - Tom Terry (Bulwell) 342 (-20).
