Starting in December 1920, the Billiard Player ran continuously as a monthly publication for over fifty years, the final issue appearing in 1972, by which time it had been renamed "Billiards & Snooker".
The first owner and editor was Charles Baker, and the subsequent editors who controlled and contributed to the content of these magazines are as follows:
