The Control Council of British Billiards

Below are given portraits of most of the gentlemen who form the Billiards Association and Control Council—a somewhat discussed body. The Billiard Player has not been so fortunate as to obtain portraits of two newly elected members (Mr. P. W. Mumford and Mr. J. Boiset) nor of three old members (Mr. R. H. Gillespie, Mr. W. Bessemer Wright, and Dr G. E. Reeve, the last of whom is one of those who, with Mr. W. Herbert Fowler and Mr. A. J. Peters, have now retired by rotation, but are eligible for re-election after the lapse of one year. The other two newly-elected members are Mr. W. J. Gask and Mr. J. Graham Symes.
