COLLINS v. A. HUGHES

THE match that was arranged to have taken place between the above players at the Shakespeare Tavern, Kilburn, did not take place as was originally announced.

The two players, however, played a game of 500 up for the amusement of those present. The play was far from good on either side. Alfred Hughes, whose best breaks were 52, 35, and 30, ultimately won the game by 56 points. Collins's best breaks were 45, 39, and 38.
