Some time afterwards Bennett ran up a score of 58, when he missed cue. GameDufton 569, Bennett 400. The former continued to play well, while Bennett was evidently in ill-luck; and after several other changes the game stoodDufton 701, Bennett 488. The latter then, with some fine all-round play, made the break of the evening, 90. Dufton continued to maintain his advantage throughout the remainder of the game, and reached 1,000 against 860, thus winning by 140.
