To the Editor of THE BILLIARD NEWS:
SIR,I think the following little incident in pool, which occurred a short time back, deserving of notice in your journal. An excitable friend of mine played out of turn with the wrong ball, at the wrong ball, and used the rest instead of his cue, and at the same time made a foul stroke by touching another ball with his left arm whilst taking aim. What ought to be done under these circumstances?I am, &c. A. H. B.
[The circumstances are so exceptional, and so little likely to occur again, that we would recommend the following penalty:Pay a life to each player and two to the marker. Have his head shaved and a strong blister applied to the back of the neck.ED.]
