B.C.C. Autumn Handicap

The results of the first round of the Billiards Control Club autumn handicap on average were as follow:—M. Roberts beat Major R. T. Russell by 500 to 448; H. Sharman beat W. Bessemer Wright by 500 to 460; W. Herbert Fowler heat C. Baker by 500 to 380; J. H. Kino beat Sir Arthur Conan Doyle by 500 to 320.

In the second round, R. K. Inman beat Rev. D. J.Thomas by 500 to 450; C. S. Murray had a walk-over from Sir J. H. Dimsdale, as also did Vaughan Robinson from Alfred J. Peters; M. Roberts beat H. Sharman by 500 to 476; J. H. Kino beat W. Herbert Fowler by 500 to 371; Col. G. Ommanney beat Mr. A. Dingli by 500 to 325; J. W. Webb beat Rev. R. du F. Bryans by 500 to 449, and W. J. Gask beat A. Hatchard by 500 to 464.

In the third round C. S. Murray beat R. K. Inman by 500 to 443; M. Roberts beat V. Robinson by 500 to 362; J. H. Kino beat Col. G. Ommanney by 500 to 339, and J. W. Webb beat W. J. Gask by 500 to 471.

In the fourth round C. S. Murray beat M. Roberts by 500 to 435; J. H. Kino beat J. W. Webb by 500 to 487, and in the final J. H. Kino (with 45 unfinished) beat C. S. Murray by 500 to 310.

The final of the Leeds Amateur Championship competition was played on December 6, between J. Cope and H. Saffer, the result being an easy victory for the former by 500 to 306.
