Junior Tournaments

Fakenham

November 1997

The first event of the series had seen the players travel to Fakenham's Pot Black Club for the first time.

Dean Bavister (Rushden) won his first junior ranking event defeating Jim Chambers (Ely) 200-183 in a close final, Dean's timely 48 break clinching victory and also the highest break prize.

In the semi finals Dean had beaten Ashley Burton (Raunds) 252-104 while Jim had despatched Fraser Adams 321-16 1.

In the Plate final Fakenham duo Keith Chapman and David Wells met with Chapman taking the Plate 200-140.
