The EASB would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone in the Billiards World a very Happy and Successful New Year. We thank you all for your support over the last season and hope that we continue to grow together in a united force, spreading the game across the country and producing some more outstanding billiards players.
Our Congratulations go to Malcolm Lax and Derek Townend who were voted back on to the Billiards Committee along with Ellis Lloyd, our sincere condolences go to Ellis Lloyd's family and friends, we were shocked by his tragic loss.
The EASB is planning to hold a number of Open Meetings around the county to give all members the opportunity to express their opinion. The Open Meetings will allow members and non-members of the EASB to come along and ask any questions or simply to just find out more information on the EASB. The first meeting is provisionally scheduled for the 26 February 1998 at 7 pm at the Pennine Hotel, Macklin Street, Derby. We look forward to seeing you there.
