A note from the Publisher

During my first year of publishing the 'Amateur Billiard Player', I have experienced one or two teething problems which have resulted in issues not being sent out by the due date. The receipt of results and other information has not always been on time and pressure of daytime work has also contributed.

This issue is the last one covered by the 1996 subscription and new subscriptions for 1997 are now due and remain at £12. A Subscription Renewal form is enclosed with this issue.

I intend publishing four issues, in March, June, October and December. I would like to stress that all the Officials connected with the magazine do their work voluntarily and all monies raised go to the EABA.

We still need more subscribers. If you know of anyone who would like to receive the ABP, please photocopy your subscription form for them before filling it in.
