It is with sadness that we report the death of Colin Summers, Chairman of the Kent Billiards & Snooker Association. Colin died peacefully after a long illness on 30th March, 2003. He was for many years the Secretary of the Kent Association and had a lifelong connection with Billiards & Snooker. A regular player in the Medway and Gravesend Leagues and a member of the Kent County Billiards Team, Colin will long be remembered for his hard work and interest in the sport. Our sympathy goes to his wife Frances, to his family and his many friends, in particular to his long time buddy and travelling companion, Dr. Robert Shanks.
