Ernest Evans, of Buxton, formerly of Rochdale, scored 505 in 40 minutes in an Exhibition game against Alec Somerville, of Somercotes, Derby, at the Annual Prize Presentation of the Darley Dale Ormes Billiards & Snooker League on August 25th. Evans made breaks of 131 and 155.
