Billiard Masters Tournament

Noel Meagor defeated Geoff Lingard 229(66)-188 in the final match to take the Cornwall Billiard Masters Tournament on 18th November. The seven entries played a round-robin series to decide the two finalists. Lingard had topped the group stages with 5 wins, while Meagor had just scraped through on a better points difference from Chris Mitchell, both having finished with four wins. Meagor also recorded the day's highest break with 104 in an earlier match against Charlie Gay.

County Championships

The first round of the Cornwall County Championship is now complete with Keith Oliver (Hessenford), Dave White (Bude SC), Dave Clue (Menheniot), Ian Hunn (St. Dominic) all emerging victorious from their matches. They are joined in the second round by Charlie Gay (St. Day) and Noel Meagor (Playing Place) who both received byes. The semi-finals for the Team Billiards Championship will see St. Dominic take on Playing Place at Camelford WMI on Tuesday 5th February, while Camelford WMI 'A' will play Menheniot at Dobwalls on Tuesday 29th January. Matches will be three games of 250-up.
