The Widnes and District Billiards and Snooker League held their annual presentation ceremony at Ford Sports and Social Club on 1st June. Amongst those receiving prizes were the Billiards League winners, Farnworth Social Club A (Division One) and Eccleston Lane Ends (Division Two). Highest breaks in these divisions went to E McNicholas (St Basil's) with 72, and P Corns (Ford) 56. The Individual Billiards Champion was C. Maddocks (Village) and the Individual Handicap went to P. Corns.
