Swaffham Conservatives won the Massingham Billiards League, with Narborough finishing as runners-up. Founded in 1925, this is the oldest surviving cue sports League in Norfolk. They had a total of nine teams taking part this season who competed in 100-up games, each team having four members. Philip Welham (Westacre C) is the League's only handicapped player being required to concede 150 points. He recorded the season's highest break with 132. Nine-year-old Jacob Moriarty was the youngest player, while Bert Flowers, at the age of 86, was the oldest.
David Nichols (Pinewood B) won the Individual Billiards competition run by the Alby League in Norfolk. He defeated Colin McCarthy 250- 89 in the final, making breaks of 88 and 61. In the League, Nichols was less successful, his team finishing as runners-up to Mundesley.
