The Chairman Mr P Shelley opened the meeting by welcoming all members in attendance, he went on to thank all committee members for the effort shown in making the season a resounding success, also this year had shown The Association to be much stronger since our independence. The Ranking Tournament Winners were varied and we have New Champions in Jim McCann Grand Masters, Tony James The English Champion, Tony Being The Oldest Winner Since it's Inception, Junior Winners, Under19s Dominic Mulhall, Under 16s Jamie Edwards. Mr P Shelley concluded with a sincere vote of thanks to all our sponsors, in particular Mr Eric Gratton and Mr J McGregor.
The Minutes of the previous AGM were read out and accepted as a true record, proposed D Richardson seconded by G Richardson, duly signed by the Chairman Mr P Shelley.
Constitution to be amended to include changes approved by the Committee during the season 2002-2003.

Mr S Crosland presented the balance sheet for 2002-2003, which showed a concise report showing percentage income and expenditure. The balance for the year stood at £2189-60p.
Mr S Crosland was pleased to announce Mr T Keeling would be sponsoring the Junior Section for £350-00 this seaso
Mr J Bousfield stated that Mr P Welham had started coaching juniors with some success and was optimistic that the newly formed committee would lead to further improvement in the junior game.
The Chairman welcomed Mr David Rees who has been Co-opted on to the committee with his extensive knowledge of the coaching systems previously used. Mr Rees stated he had contacted previous EASB coaches but had no success, he hopes to set up our own coaches in chosen areas.
Mr P Dunning stated that Issue 29 of the magazine would be the last print by Mr P Ashworth. On the website a vote of thanks to Mr R Morgan in his efforts to establish the EABA, his close co-operation in communication has improved standards to make this such a success.

This proposal concerned an amended draw for the last 16 of the English Championship,this proposal was discussed for some time but no vote was taken due to The seconder not being in attendance. This contravenes Rule 4d of the EABA constitution. This states that the proposer and seconder must be in attendance.
