THE ROLE OF COACHING

  • Coaching performs a vital role in all walks of life – in business, music, dance, drama and of course sport. Coaching occurs wherever someone is willing to share their expertise and experience with another; combining demonstration, explanation and advice through a planned and structured process.
  • Effective Coaching helps the participant gain improvement and thus more enjoyment in their chosen activity.
  • Effective Coaching is a vital ingredient in the development of individual and team performance in sport. Whatever the level of ability, from beginner through to international competitor, sound leadership and guidance are essential for successful and enjoyable participation and performance.
