EABA Coaching Scheme
The Coaching Scheme of the EABA has now been up and running for nearly 12 months and we are delighted to announce that we now have 17 Coaches on board.
However we are still keen to appoint more Coaches, particularly in the Greater London or Southern regions. If you are interested please contact David Rees on Tel: 01332-701026.
It is also important that we "spread the word" regarding our Coaching Scheme. If all members could circulate their own areas & Leagues with our Contacts List it would be appreciated.
Regional Coaches
A Regional Coach shoulders the majority of responsibility for development within his region.
These responsibilities include examining potential Area Coaches, training and advising of Area Coaches, liaising with Area Coaches and the Head of Coaching.
Regional coaches need organisational skills, communication skills, playing experience and the use of a car and telephone.

AREA COACHES
Area Coaches will have passed a Coaching Examination taken by their Regional Coach. They require a good knowledge of playing Billiards and know the Rules of the Game. They should also be able to give advice on cue selection and tipping cues.

THE ROLE OF COACHING
